DURABLE DESIGN

We strive to minimize our impact on the environment and make conscious choices when collecting. Our shoes are made of leather, a material that lasts a long time and can be used more than once. This is also one of the reasons that every pair of shoes comes with an extra pair of insoles, so that a brother, sister, girlfriend or other child can give the shoes an extra life.

Secondly, the extra insoles are intended for children who are between sizes, by placing the extra insoles on top of the original footbed we can ensure that they are assured of a comfortable and secure fit from day 1.

We promote Slow-Fashion, styles with a comfortable design and sustainable quality. We offer a minimalist collection that does not change significantly over the seasons. In this way we can reuse materials from previous collections to reduce waste.

MADE IN PORTUGAL

All our shoes are handmade in beautiful Portugal. As close to 'home' as possible to minimize our CO2 impact. Quality and sustainability are closely linked to responsible production. That is why we work together with a selected factory that has specialized in children's shoes since 1992. This factory shares our sustainability values ​​and works strictly according to the highest ethical standards.

TRUSTED MANUFACTURERS

We use certified leathers from manufacturers in Portugal and Italy that do not use potentially hazardous substances in the leather processing and focus on optimizing their environmental footprint to reduce water and energy consumption during this process.

All our leather is carefully selected for sustainability and contains no harmful ingredients such as chemicals, chromium and heavy metals.

The wool used for the lining of the boots comes from Italy. We believe that wool can only be truly sustainable if it does not harm the planet, animals or people. The wool comes from farms chosen based on their commitment to animal welfare.

RECYCLED PACKAGING

We need packaging to protect the shoes during transport. To minimize environmental impact, we only use uncoated recycled boxes, paper and tags.

10 TREES PLANTED

For every pair of shoes you buy, 10 trees are planted in Africa. This is the part where you as a customer can make a difference.

We work together with Trees for the Future. An organization that focuses on creating sustainable, balanced ecosystems that help new forests grow and provide a local organic food supply chain.
